How do I view my cameras after end of life of IE?

You can use Microsoft Edge.

How do I use Microsoft Edge to view my cameras?

1. Open Microsoft Edge
2. Click with your mouse the 3 dots in the upper right corner and scroll down to select “settings”
3. Scroll down and select “default browser”
4. On the “Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode” change this to “Allow”
5. When you open Microsoft Edge, put in your IP address and port number as usual and after you get to the log in screen, click the 3 dots in the upper right corner with your mouse, scroll down and select “Reload in Internet Explorer mode”.
6. After it reloads you will select the radio “Open this page in internet explorer mode next time” and turn on. (This is a 1 time procedure). Leave the radio button for “compatibility mode” off.
7. Log in as normal and download the plug in if it asks. (Again, this is a 1 time procedure).

How can I view my cameras on my phone?

1. Download IVMS-4500 from the app store if available. If not available, proceed to next question.
2. Go through the steps of choosing a country
3. Allow push notifications if desired to be alerted for motion
4. Click the symbol in the upper left corner of app, then choose “devices”.
5. Click the symbol in the upper right corner and choose the option “manual adding”
6. Alias – is any name you want for the cameras to identify which location it is for
7. Register mode – IP/domain
8. IP address is the address assigned by your ISP or the installer
9. Port – 8000 (unless the programmer changed it)
10. User – admin
11. Password – (given by the programmer)

Once all steps are complete, touch the floppy disk symbol in the upper right corner. You will see a circle spinning in the middle of the screen while your phone tries to connect to the recorder. Once successful, the camera number at the bottom of the page will show the number of channels on your recorder. Then press Start Live View at the bottom.

How do I view cameras from my phone if IVMS-4500 is not in my app store?

1. Download Guarding Vision from your app store. If this is not available, call your installing office
2. Go through the steps of choosing a country

How do I download video from my computer?

1. Log into the DVR you need using the real internet explorer or Microsoft Edge and make sure to “run as admin” by right clicking on the Internet Explorer symbol and choose this option.
2. Click the configuration tab -> click local
3. Under “Record File Settings” section choose “Save Downloaded Files To” and select a folder to save your recordings
4. Select the “Playback” tab
5. Hover of the buttons at the bottom of the grid until you find the title “download” and click it with your mouse
6. When the window opens, it should be self explanatory from here. Choose your camera, then skip to the start and end time/date and click search. Select the files and select “download”.

If you followed the steps above exactly, you should see your files in the folder you made or selected for your recordings. To play the recordings, you can use most any player downloaded off of the internet but you can not use the windows media player.

How do I download files directly from my CCTV recorder?

1. Find the exact start / end dates and exact start / end times of your incident
2. Put a new USB into either the front or rear of your recorder
3. Using your mouse, go to the menu and select “export”
4. Choose “normal” and then select the cameras you are downloading the incident from. A is analog cameras and D are IP cameras. Choose your time / date then click search
5. Go through the pictures and check box the ones you want to export, then click export
6. Find your device in the drop down menu, then select new folder from down below and make a new folder and name it
7. Click export and when the box pops up, select video and log then select ok
8. Select export again, choose player and select ok
9. Your done, so select back until you get to the live screen
